Anti-AFK With an Auto Clicker: Stay Present Without Playing

AFK kicks exist to free server slots and lobbies. An anti-AFK setup uses an auto clicker at its slowest, not fastest: one click (or a click chain) every minute or two, just enough to register as activity. GS Auto Clicker handles this easily because its interval goes up to hours.

The setup

  1. Install GS from the download page and open your game/app.
  2. Options → Clicking → Repeat: set the interval to 60–120 seconds (in the hours/minutes/seconds fields). Repeat = until stopped.
  3. Choose a harmless click target: a point that registers activity without doing damage — in many games a small movement or a benign UI click works; some players instead record a two-point chain (Multiple Clicks) that nudges and returns.
  4. Start with F8, then verify over 10–15 minutes that the session stays alive before trusting it for hours.

Mechanics that defeat naive setups

  • Identical input detection: stricter games look for patterns, not just inactivity — the same pixel at the same interval for hours is itself a pattern. Varying between two intervals or two points across sessions is the usual practical answer; there is no guaranteed one.
  • Idle definitions differ: some titles count only movement or specific inputs, others any input. Test in the actual game.
  • Life happens: updates, disconnects and queues end sessions regardless of clicking.

The honesty paragraph

In multiplayer games, anti-AFK automation sits in the same rules family as other automation: many titles prohibit it, and holding a lobby slot while absent is exactly what AFK kicks are designed to prevent. In single-player games, work software with presence timers, or your own servers, it is uncontroversial. Know which context you are in before you queue the overnight session. Per-game risk labels: Roblox, Minecraft.

Overnight runs pair naturally with post-task shutdown.
