GS Auto Clicker APK Won’t Install? Blocked, Parse Errors and Play Protect

The GS Auto Clicker Android app is distributed as an APK from goldensoft.org — never via Google Play — so installing it means sideloading, and sideloading has gates. Here is each wall and its door.

Wall 1: “Install blocked” / unknown sources

1. When the installer prompt appears, tap Settings on the prompt (or go to Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps).
2. Select the app you downloaded with (usually your browser or Files) and enable Allow from this source.
3. Return and install. Afterwards, you can switch the permission back off — the installed app keeps working.

Wall 2: Play Protect warning

Play Protect scans sideloaded apps and may warn about an app it does not know, or about accessibility-based tools generally. If your file matches, the warning is about the category; if it does not match, delete it — Play Protect just did you a favor.

Wall 3: “There was a problem parsing the package”

• Almost always a corrupt or truncated download — re-download the whole file on a stable connection and check the size above.
• Less often: an ancient Android version. The APK targets modern Android (API 33 era); very old devices may simply be out of range.
• Make sure the file extension is .apk and was not renamed by a download manager or renamed by a “zip” association.

Wall 4: Installs, but taps do nothing
