Is GS Auto Clicker Portable? Running It Without a Full Install

The honest answer: GoldenSoft does not publish a portable edition of GS Auto Clicker. The official Windows download is an installer (867,241 bytes) that sets the program up under Program Files (x86)\GSAutoClicker3 with a standard uninstaller. Any site offering a distinct “GS Auto Clicker Portable” download is repackaging the same program — which breaks the hash story and is a classic malware wrapper channel.

What the installer actually does

  • Copies the program files into the install folder and creates shortcuts.
  • Registers an uninstall entry (you will see it in Settings → Apps).
  • Nothing about the clicking features requires deep system integration: the program is a small self-contained AutoIt-built executable with its settings.

“Can I just copy the installed folder to a USB stick?”

In practice the installed program folder can be copied and the exe run elsewhere — many users do exactly this on school or work machines. Two honest caveats:

  • It may still need privileges. On locked-down machines, clicking into elevated apps requires running as administrator, which you may not have. Portable does not mean permission-proof.
