Who we are

gsautoclicker.net is an independent, fan-run resource site about GS Auto Clicker, a freeware program developed by GoldenSoft. We are not GoldenSoft. This page explains, in plain language, what data this website itself collects when you visit it.

What we collect

Server and security logs. Like almost every website, our hosting and content-delivery providers (including Cloudflare) automatically record technical log data when your browser requests a page: IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages and files requested, with timestamps. These logs are used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and understand which content is useful.

Download click counts. Our outbound download links pass through simple redirect links that count clicks (for example, how many people downloaded the Windows installer). These counters are aggregate statistics; they are not used to build profiles of individual visitors.

Email you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and we use them only to reply and to handle your request.

What we do not do

This site has no user accounts, no comment system, no file uploads and no checkout. We do not ask you to register to download anything, and we do not sell personal data. The GS Auto Clicker program itself is distributed by GoldenSoft; this policy covers this website only, not the program.

Cookies

This site sets only the cookies needed for basic operation and security (for example, Cloudflare may set a cookie to distinguish human visitors from bots). If analytics or advertising cookies are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site and downloads will continue to work.

External websites

Our pages link to external sites, including goldensoft.org, MajorGeeks, the Chrome Web Store, Softpedia, Terabox (our mirror host) and, where labeled, affiliate partners such as Amazon. When you follow those links you leave this site, and the privacy policy of the destination site applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you (in practice: server logs and any email you sent us), to ask for it to be deleted, and to object to its processing. Send any such request to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

How long we keep data

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or anonymized by our providers. Emails are kept while your request is being handled and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up. Aggregate click counters contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely as site statistics.
